How should I store my e-bike?

Correctly storing your e-bike is crucial to keeping it in good condition, as well as helping to prevent it from being stolen.

We always suggest removing your battery when leaving your bike - whether this is in public, a cycle hangar, or at your work place. If you can store your bike indoors, then we would recommend this, otherwise a covered area outdoors in a secure area is best for storing at a work place or at home.

We recommend locking your bike whenever you leave it unattended, regardless of location, by using the lock provided by DASH to secure the frame of your bike to an immovable object. If you have to leave it in a public place, we would suggest finding a well-lit area, visible to passers-by.

Note that you are not able to leave your e-bike in the same public space for more than 24 hours as this will void our theft insurance policy, and you will be liable for the replacement cost of the bike.
