How do I know I have this issue?
Your pedals will be misaligned, or your crank arms or pedals have become loose. They may become loose enough that they fall off. Additionally, the thread on your pedal screws will be worn/damaged, so that you cannot adjust the pedals yourself.
What causes this issue?
This happens when the pedals are installed incorrectly - e.g. installing the left pedal on the right crank and vice versa.
How to fix the issue
You will need to confirm the issue with Cowboy through the Cowboy app. Once confirmed, Cowboy will ship you the following parts:
- Crank arms
- Spindle bolt
- If required, pedal set
Please then raise a ticket with DASH support and we will arrange for the bike to be repaired by one of our DASH Service Partners.
