To get started with your new e-bike, follow the steps below. Make sure to retain the box and packaging for returns!
To start, remove the bike from the box, and any packaging attached to it. You can use the kick stand to keep the bike upright during assembly.
Remove the face plate at the top of the stem (where the handlebars will go) using the 4mm Allen key. Hold the handlebars in place (as shown in the pictures below), replace the face plate, and refit the 4 bolts using the Allen key to tighten them. [The white writing on the handlebars should be visible through the hole in the face plate, you can adjust the angle slightly to suit your riding position].
Once the handlebars are fitted, you can attach the pedals using the 15mm spanner provided. Identify the left and right pedals by the letter stencilled at the end of the threads (see below).
The left pedal should be attached on the non-drive side (when standing at the back of the bike looking at the handlebars, the non-drive side is the left side of the bike) and is tightened by turning it anti-clockwise. The right pedal should be attached on the drive side, and turned clockwise to tighten it.
Congrats! Your e-bike is now assembled - to switch it on, hold the button at the bottom of the battery until the screen comes on. Tap the 'computer key' (will be attached with the keys) on the screen to unlock the bike. Now you're ready to ride.
