My battery is not charging

Why is my battery not charging?

If your battery is not charging, it may mean that the 5A fuse in your battery has blown.

Can I check if my bike has blown?

To check this, first make sure that your battery is switched off. On the underside of the battery you will find 2 plastic fuse covers – one labelled 5A and one labelled 40A. Using a flat head screw-driver, remove the 5A cover to expose the fuse. Once exposed, you should be able to remove the 5A fuse using the screw-driver. Hold this up to a light source and look through the translucent bodywork. You should see a thin metal wire in there. If the wire is no longer a continuous thread and appears broken or in two pieces, the fuse has indeed blown and will require replacing.

If your fuse has blown then please raise a ticket with DASH Support for further assistance.
