What does the insurance cover?

Our fully comprehensive cover includes theft, damage and vandalism. You can read the full coverage policy here and we highly recommend you do so.

If you have to leave the bike unattended, we provide a Sold Secure Gold Lock for locking it to an immovable object. This must be done to comply with the insurance policy and it must not be left unattended in the same location for longer than 24 hours.

Specifically for the Brompton Electric, we always advise riders to fold the bike and take it with you rather than locking it.

Please note, our policy does include a £100 excess on any claim (we may waive this for compassionate reasons should you be involved in an accident). For more information see the co-insurance section in our full coverage policy here.
