Please notify us here immediately in either case. If your e-bike has been stolen, report the incident to the police and provide us with the crime reference number.
Note that we do have insurance to cover theft but there is a £100 excess on any claim which we may choose to waive this for compassionate reasons. The charge, which includes the cost of a replacement lock, will be added to your monthly subscription fee and deducted from your pay.
If you have been involved in an accident resulting in damage to your e-bike then you should tell us.
When it comes to returning your e-bike to us, if there is minor damage, such as scratches or scuffs, then you will not be charged. However, more significant damage, or missing components could result in additional charges.
Examples of such damage could include (but is not limited to): dents to the frame, deep or long scratches, buckled wheels, component damage or missing components, any damage that is likely to have been caused by neglect or road accidents.
We will communicate the exact charge to you when we have calculated the cost of parts and labour.
If you want to know more, then contact us here.
